Orlando First Time Home Buyer

Are you a first time homebuyer in the Orlando area?

Even if you have owned a home in the past, you might still be considered a first time home buyer by the Federal Government!

Have you owned a home in the last 3 years?

Guess what? The U.S. Federal Government considers you to be a first time home buyer if you have not owned a home in the past three years!

Get up to a $7,500 Tax Credit from the Government

As part of the economic stimulous packages, the U.S. Government passed legislation in July 2008 that provides a temporary tax credit as an incentive for first-time home buyers. This tax credit is for up to $7,500 to be used towards the purchase of a primary residence. But don't wait, it is only for a limited time beginning April 9, 2008 and ends July 1, 2009.

Most First Time Home Buyers will be pleasantly suprised to find that they qualify for the First Time Homeowner Tax Credit. Individuals filing IRS Tax Form 1040 as Single, are eligible for the credit if there income is not more than $75,000. Joint returns can have an income of not more than $150,000. If you earn more than these amounts, please don't be discouraged, you may still qualify for the First Time Buyers Tax Credit.
